So I have been teaching myself how to frankenmesh and I think I am (or thought I was) getting the hang of it. I have been creating some hair meshes. One I have been working on has 4 parts and one just has two. Both times when I've gone to join the meshes they have done some weird transparent implosion of some sort. I've been searching high and low for a solution but I cant find one. (Side note: Both times I have mirrored a mesh. I don't know if that makes a difference or not.) Here's some screen captures to help show my issue: (This first one is before joining the meshes.)  ![]()    The second one (shown above) is after switching to "edit mode" and using "ctrl n". I just don't know what else to do. |

can you share your package and blend file? i think it could be due to uvs

you need to select the strands in edit mode with ctrl+L and click flip uv direction  |

you need to select the strands in edit mode with ctrl+L and click flip uv direction I tried it and I unfortunately keep getting a semi-transparent mesh. I tried doing it strand by strand and all together but each resulted the same way. :/ |

I just wanted to update this, (I know it's been a long time, sorry!) I did figure it out and fixed the issues. Thank you to the community and moderators who helped me. I did finish this piece and I will be uploading it in the Custom Content Links soon. <3
