Hello. Wondering how I can adjust an object to be less transparent.

Hmm, I was facing a similar issue a week or two ago, but it was the opposite: I was trying to make an opaque object somewhat transparent. I did resolve it by playing around in the MLOD settings, but it's hard to know what's wrong without the package file itself. I would suggest sharing your package so we could take a better look at it.
PS: I know you said you didn't care but oh my...16k polys for a single item...ouch!

👆 agreed. I'm really really curious what exactly is that much high poly on that lamp.
anyway.. this might sound silly but you edited the alpha channel right? or are you working with png? I suggest you switch to dds if you haven't and control it with alpha.

Thank you both. Yes, the polys are "yuuuuge", but I like the way it used to look in game and I couldn't figure out why it was so big ... so I ADDED to it. Lol. Here is the new version which I basically just remade hoping something would click differently, but used the same blender file in. At this point I have about five different blender files for it, unfortunately. None really any better than the last, and my original nowhere to be found. www.mediafire.com/file/rybb5l7nszsfl08/phoenixcasafendicrystaltablelamp2.package/filesimsi45 As for the high poly content, I keep my file poly's pretty scaled down, so that I can 'splurge' on items like these, but you are right. WAY bigger than it should be. inabadromance I normally work with .png on Pixlr Online Editor which I find so dang SIMPLE to use and which draws zero resources from my computer versus my heavier Photoshop with Plugins. If I need to, I can certainly use .dds files. Would this be the answer do you think? Thanks again!

Hi again. I cloned a different lamp and the opaque-ness is back. If anyone has time to help with the super high poly issue though, that would be appreciated. I was fooling around with modifiers on the main mesh early on and hid it by mistake only in Object Mode where it could not be made visible by pressing Alt+H, so I fear I inadvertently added a Mask modifier or other that I cannot get rid of now and maybe that's what is making it so heavy?

Well jurisprudence you don´t unwrapped your mesh with the transparent part. I take a screenshot with your uv map: after unwrapping: For the high poly I would start from sratch, you can´t see this little details in game, but you can edit the bump/normal and spec map for interesting details.

OMG. You are right. I promise that it was originally unwrapped. I even had the black Fendi Lettering on the crystals in the original version. I then made the bulb, unwrapped it, scaled it on the X Axis to fit it to the already existing UV Map for my lamp - and I guess I somehow lost the crystal part of the mesh when I added the bulb to that cut??? Wow. Thank you! As for the polys, I thought I had decimated it down to the bare bones, so to speak, but I decimated it further and got it down to around 9k which yes, is still high, but better than the 17k which I thought I could live until inabadromance and Simsi made me really think about it. <3 Oh, and if it helps anyone else, I had indeed added some type of modifier I could not get rid of until I read this: blenderartists.org/t/help-how-can-i-mass-remove-modifiers/628853Again, thanks!

MahoCreations @mahocreations (Entered MahoCreations but it pulls up noobilene). Anyway, I was changing the subject line to "Solved", but wanted to take another opportunity to thank you personally, as well as the other helpful respondents not just to this thread, but Creator Help threads in general. With EA having mostly always given the cold shoulder to creators (which to me is ridiculous because there would be no game were it not for them), the platforms where one can get help is extremely limited for a game this size. For you kind people here to take the time and volition to ACTIVELY help others, is just amazing. Thanks again!!! (Where are the heart smileys)?
