Hey, so... Not only am I new to CC making, I'm also new to 3D modeling, but of course I decided to start things off with a bang and make a frankenmesh for teeth...

The model and textures show up fine in S4S, but when I try to load the game with the CC it doesn't get past the loading screen. I've been searching through the file to see what's wrong, but I'm not sure exactly what it is.

Here's the file for interested parties... I should've eased myself in with just recolors ;^^

Mmm, don't think there is anything wrong with the file. The only 2 issues I see are wrong diffuse and wrong shadow texture. On diffuse texture there should be only texture of the teeth, no body. And I don't think that teeth need any shadow file at all. There is a regular diffuse texture in shadow file, you need to blank it. Try cloning and importing lods and textures again. Also try running the game only with your file.

fixed up the texture files and reuploaded the lods and stuff like you said, and actually... I went through and double-checked my other mods i had installed, and it turns out one of those was corrupted/broken instead. go figure.

I'd had problems with the creator's mods before, so for safety I just decided to get rid of all of their mods. Problem solved, my sims have big toothy grins, life is good.
