Hi, I've been having an issue where, when I import a .dds for my shadow file into S4S, it creates a pink area in the RGB channel where the alpha is. This leads to there being a shadow on my mesh in-game where I don't want it to be. The pink part is not there when I save the .dds, it's only after I import it to S4S that it appears. I've tried importing multiple different .dds files to S4S, including both completely new files, as well as exporting the .dds file, editing out the pink part, and reimporting it, and the same thing keeps happening. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Hi! I've personally never experienced this on my end. Would you share the package and individual texture file (or original PSD) so someone can take a look? Have you tried merging all layers (if any) into one and editing the saturation to 0 before saving just in case?

Hi emyprice95 , Perhaps a silly question but is there any chance you have a layer turned off or invisible? If you save the .DDS file as a .PNG and view that in a regular image viewer do you see any evidence of the unexpected artifact?

I did have an invisible layer on the original one, but I tried inabadromance's suggestion and flattened the image and still had the same issue. I'll try it as a .png!

I don't seem to be getting the same issue when I've imported a .png! I'll try it in-game and see if it is still having issues.
