I will admit I am getting real tired of these updates, every time they decide they want to update the game it breaks it more and then on top of that my mods don't work properly. It is like the damn EA staff want to make it difficult to mod the game now. I am sick and tired of it, I just got all my stuff re-installed in the game and low and behold I get the dreaded "Update Required" message on Origin. So just perfect, this will probably break more poo in my game and/or make the mods I just re-installed not work and then I have to wait for the devs to update everything to keep up with EA's dumb updates.
They never fix any of the serious problems anyways each time they update. How about, EA Devs, instead of doing bug fix updates to fix bugs that no one even knows or cares about currently, you actually do an update that will fix the broken AI Pathing problem that makes all our sims run around like idiots that have zero common sense? Or even better yet, don't update unless you have a fix that will solve the more serious problems in your game, like the fact that each time you guys want to update it breaks all the mods your users have? Amazing idea, right?
Seriously I am starting to not even want to play this game anymore, there is always another problem and I get spammed with updates each time I want to relax and play the game WITH all my mods working in it. This is getting ridiculous. So yes this was a rant, thanks for reading to anyone who actually read through this. Sorry but I had to say this...

I understand your frustration, but this is pretty par for the course for the sims and pretty much any mod-able game that gets updated frequently. I wouldn't try to update your mods until after the game pack comes out as there will likely be another set of reasons for mods to break. This is always going to be a thing with games that are capable of being modded that's why many people are CC free and CC light. The more CC you have the more chances that patches will cause issues.
You practically have to become paranoid about game saves and stuff with how things go in games that can be modded.
Sorry that you're frustrated, it sucks having to keep up with it all... You can help speed up the recovery time by helping the modders. Let them know something is broken and SimsVIP will usually have a post with all the broken CC and then when it's updated again. Scarlet is a queen and I'd probably be more frustrated if I weren't paranoid and didn't have those patch posts she does.

I am just annoyed with all the updates XD Some of the updates they come out with, is quite honestly pointless. Hardly ever fixes anything that is a problem.

You are correct. It seems pointless. I am still waiting for a patch to fix the alien female hair, but alas...nothing.
