The colorful prints represent a stylized version of African prints in traditional and updated color schemes.
Mud cloth comes from Mali and was once used only for rites-of-passage, then went through a transition of not being used because it was seen as something only peasants would wear. Today there is a resurgence as Mud Cloth (or Bogolan) is treasured as a part of Mali's national cultural identity.
This adds 11 swatches to the in-game dress, one of which is Mud cloth. More to come!

I love the rain. Moving from the Pacific Northwest to Las Vegas was nice, but I missed the rain. Now I am back, and I can hear it in the trees and listen to the frogs when it is done.
Here is a mini-rain playlist of songs in my library:
Nights Like This - After 7 (Nights like this I wish, that raindrops would fallllllll)
Rain - Madonna
Rain - The Beatles
Rainy Days and Mondays - The Carpenters
I Call Your Name - Switch (Although I love the sunshine, I still accept the Rain..) Rainy Night in Georgia - Brook Benton Come Rain or Come Shine - Barbra Streisand Stormy Weather - Lena Horne Here Comes The Rain Again - Eurythmics The Rain - Oran Juice Jones Umbrella - Rihanna
32 Swatches in All - from my Silk Road Palette, Florals from Patten Graphics (purchased) and Digital Magic Store Dots and Confetti (purchased)
Enjoy! Have fun! and stay dry!

The Get Famous dress was really popular, so I added more swatches. I also re-named it, so if you downloaded the original and download this, there will be no override. It may, however, end up with duplicate swatches.
14 swatches total, including the originals. YA-Elder, Everyday, Party, Hot Weather, and disabled for random. Patterns purchased from Irene Art

This adds 8 swatches to the large canvas, created by NumbersWoman. The Mesh is required. The link goes to just the large canvas, but there is a set of blank items you can recolor and, well, you know it is T$R..
The Large canvas retails for $500 and I think/hope this may do very nicely as an addition to the new Island pack for decorating.
Because this is a recolor of another person's work, PLEASE: DO NOT RE-UPLOAD, MONETIZE OR TAKE CREDIT.
These three recolors/retextures come to you in a multitude of swatches with jewel tones, and a mix of bright colors from my happy colors/silkroad palettes that I hope you will enjoy. A lot of my recolors work together, but you can also go wild and mix it up.
You are welcome to upload with your saved worlds/lots, but please do not: take credit, rename my files or monetize in any way.
The rug (love!!) is from Island Living, and the plant is from Get Famous
Thank you to sims4studio, Andrew & Orangemittens.
Patterns/textures used are purchased from Etsy. Credits in my original post on my blog.
Aloha!! Growing up in Hawai'i, I wore a two piece hibiscus short/top set that I loved. I think there will always be a place in fashion for these prints and they will always evoke fond memories of my childhood. I call these vintage modern, as these prints aren't quite ancient, but they aren't the vivid colors that are more frequently used commercially nowadays. I miss the warm pineapple smell that used to fill the air from the Dole pineapple factory in the industrial part of Honolulu. hmmm. Enough of my reminiscing. On with the download!
There are 20 swatches added in-game to the Island Halter Dress, and the dress is categorized for Teen - Elder, Everyday, Party, Situation and Hot Weather
Honu (sea turtle), Tiki and Hibiscus (Yellow Hibiscus is the state flower) prints
and a monstera print too.
