Hey, so my sims 4 got the new update yesterday and then when i went to play it through Origin it just didn't do anything.. For some reason Origin itself says I'm In-game, but I'm clearly not. I turned it off and on again and then got a message saying that it's set to the compatibility mode and to turn it off if there's any issues. So i did and still no change. No matter how many times i try to load the sims 4 it just brings me right back to the origin 'My games' Page and its so annoying!! Anyone with any insight please help! I'm a huuuuge sims fan and literally play it all of the time so I'm sad i cant play it :( also if i go onto task manager it doesn't have the sims 4 on there. So I'm defo not in game.
I know it is a very late answer and it will not help you much but If you didn't do so yet and you still encounter this issue, I advise you to contact EA support regarding this issue. It is unlikely mod related as they are disabled after updating.
Updating windows if possible might also help clear what's blocking the start of the game.

If you are having problems seeing the CAPTCHA, please clear your browser's cache and cookies and ensure that you do not have any browser addons or extensions that interfere with the display of the CAPTCHA. Then, close the CAPTCHA window and click on the register button to open the CAPTCHA again.
