Hi, I'm creating a suit and I would love for it to have dynamic light like the Alien Suit from get to work. I know how to create flashing light with the emission map through Bakie's tutorial, but I'd love for my suit to have traveling light like the alien suit. I've exported the emission map from the alien suit with thesims4studio 1.3.0.0 Apple Blossom to try and figure out how it works. But it only exports as a png so I can't see the alpha map. Which I'm guessing is where these secrets are hiding. If anyone knows please let me know ?

What do you mean by "traveling light"? Have you got a picture of the bit in question? I'm only aware of the suits glowing at different speeds.

For some reason I thought the light moved rather than pulsed. How about the DJ mask from get together? I feel like those lights switch on and off at alternating times which kind of makes it look like it moves. I'm just brainstorming that if you can make the lights light up at alternating times it could look like it's moving along a strip of light or something? image

I understand what you are saying now but if you look at the DJ footage you have provided you will see that they are all static "lights" that just pulse at slightly different speeds. With the way the emmission map works there is no way to make sure that one part will always be off when a certain other part is on. All we can affect is the duration of the glow.

Thanks for getting back to me. That's too bad. Guess I'll have to see how far I can get with using different pulse speeds. Thanks for clarifying though.
