Hey, I've posted about this one before! I went back to work on an X-back harness for large dogs, tweaked stuff, and now for the life of me I cannot figure out how to UV map any of this properly so that it'll show up properly on the large dog model. I'm sure if I messed around enough I'd figure it out, but It's beginning to stress me :') I'm in hopes that someone here knows how to map it all properly so it'll appear ingame (and s4s for that matter) and show textures properly. I'm proficient in retextures and can probably do that sort of thing, but the UV mapping has me so, so lost.
I'd appreciate a somewhat detailed tutorial (I'm terrible with vague stuff) or even just plain old help! It's been a while and I'm so not ready to give up on making this and getting it ingame :D
Since last time I posted a similar thread I was asked to post the files and ref stuff, here's everything I'm working with. If anything else is needed, I'm more than willing to provide that! Cheers!
A small gallery showing and explaining where in the process I'm tripped up:imgur.com/a/WPzl5ZGLink to all of the files I'm working on. The current file where I'm stuck is titled "dog harness project 2mapped.blend" and it can be found under the Blender folder in the ZIP.www.mediafire.com/file/05jcwf3tqqt5fnj/Ashens_Working_Dog_Harness_Files.zip/file

Okay. The next step here is to import this mesh back into studio and to make your texture file. So that you know where to paint your texture you can get blender to save a copy of the UV map for you as a PNG file. Underneath the UV mapping section of blender there should be a little "Image" option. With your UV mapping visible on top of the texture you have, click the "Image" button and choose "Save As Image" which will prompt you to save the image on your computer. Choose somewhere you will easily find it. You can then use that image as a base to create your harness texture.
