I recolored this cc and changed the settings to allow males to wear it. It looks fine in studio but in the game it's covered in texture assets from the other worn clothing, how do i fix this?

I think it might not be the scarf itself, but another piece of CC's UV overlapping the scarf's UV.
Did you try taking the other CC items off your sim when testing? Did you happen to change the location of the scarf's UV map when recoloring? I also suggest adding a link to your .package file so others can look at it and help you.
Hope this issue is resolved quickly. Cheers!

My file - drive.google.com/open?id=15UC9iHuKiemA1disJVZ1vNvDPZHg8FOwThe scarf I'm trying to edit www.lumy-sims.com/search?q=scarfThis is my first try with studio so I'm not really sure what I'm doing, taking the other clothes off got rid of the bugs but this is happening with base game clothing and not just cc. I didn't move the UV map as far as I know as I don't even know what that is. All I know is I that I applied a texture directly over the base texture without going over the transparent section. I had to fiddle around with the gender settings in studio to get it to show up and that's pretty much it.

Initial post with my findings and thoughts (I'm learning too. ): Looks like there's an issue with the original object, even when placed on a female. The creator put the texture on the bottom right of the diffuse texture which is used by other clothing. Question for other members: I suppose this worked initially, and the texture overlap order was changed in one of the (many) game updates? It looks to me like Sims 4 combines all the textures into one for performance purposes (which is why they all have their own special section, and that's why UVs don't overlap?), so how this initially worked is beyond me. I'm not sure if there's anything that can be done in S4S to change this. If you see here, this shows the UV coordinates of all the Sim parts: Taken from this thread: sims4studio.com/thread/62/fix-uv-map-templateSee that little brown square on the top right? That's the coordinates for necklaces. Hardly big enough to cover the whole scarf without being really blurry. (It COULD be possible if the texture was tiled and UVs were setup properly. (Although in the case of this mesh, it would need to be SEVERELY simplified to work.) Another option would be to have the texture be placed in the HAT section, making it so the scarf couldn't be used with hats.
