Sometimes that's all the options that are available :( I can't myself believe how many mods I've had to kludge together to fix something that got broke/was already broken in patches and updates... phew, the recycle bin on my computer could tell a few stories lol :D
Anyway glad it worked out for you

Can a kind soul make a mini-tutorial for making stuff "Off the Grid-able"? Assuming we have a basic to moderate knowledge of object tuning> I'm assuming here that you know how to create your own tuning via existing tuning ( aka the tutorial linked in the tutorials index) I just replaced the component interactions section with some candle code from an existing, functioning candle. Have the code for a quick and easy copy and paste job. That being said, there is a fix out there for EA lights so you don't have to double up yourself. <L n="component_interactions"> <T>120287<!--lights_TurnOn_Candle--></T> <T>120288<!--lights_TurnOff_Candle--></T> <T>13531<!--lights_turn_all_off--></T> <T>13532<!--lights_turn_all_on--></T> <T>13529<!--lights_automate_all--></T> <T>120313<!--lights_AutomateThis_Candle--></T> <T>76677<!--ChangeLightColorIntensity_All--></T> <T>143180<!--changeLightColorIntensity_Room--></T> <T>120317<!--changeLightColorIntensity_ThisCandle--></T> <T>141377<!--lights_TurnOnRoom--></T> <T>141376<!--lights_TurnOffRoom--></T> <T>141375<!--lights_AutomateRoom--></T> <T>120302<!--lights_AutomateAll_Candles--></T> <T>120303<!--lights_TurnOnAll_Candles--></T> <T>214715<!--lights_TurnOffAll_Candle--></T>

What are the chances of this being able to become a button that we can just toggle in the future?

pyre Thank you! Your findings combined with the tuning tutorial helped and I can now make my CC lights work off the grid. I suspect a similar thing would work with CC bathtubs, toilets, showers, and cooking appliances?

I feel like it's more documented since I was figuring this out. I know there's tags in there for off the grid plumbing stuff specifically so you could start there?
