Hey Yall! OK so i watched this video on youtube ( ) The Video is called "How to make your sims 4 run faster, fix lagging" in the video she talks about using sims studio to merge packages, but I do not know it that is a good idea or what. Please help lol

I merge a lot of my files and yes it does cut down the loading time considerably, plus never had any issues at all game wise.

It's a personal preference I think. I've not seen a huge difference one way or the other, but I don't use a ton of CC. (I'm at just under 4 gig which I thought was a lot but I see a lot of other people with way more than that.)
I've heard that deleting the things that say "Cache" in the sims 4 folder before loading new cc into your game seems to help. I've heard that merging files will help and to make smaller names for packages and taking the spaces out of the package names is thought to help. So "Your_Stuff.package" is faster than "Your Stuff.package".
What I know for sure helps me most is to periodically purge any unused CC which is much easier to do when you can export your played sims/builds (with CC) through the tray importer. The other is making sure my my video card, programs and system are up to date along with the obligatory clean, defrag and periodic checking for virus, malware and security weaknesses.
