Recently, I came across a bug. I'm sure most of us are aware of it - the bug that causes a child or toddler to become unable to put away a toy, and it makes them also unable to perform other actions because of it. This bug has created a lot of problems, including having your child taken away due to neglected needs. Since there hasn't been a patch for it as of yet, I've taken to noting a couple of easy ways to combat this bug for anyone who hasn't figured out how to yet. Just as a note, you'll need to have cheats enabled for both of these methods, as they involve debugging commands.
1. Simply reset the toddler or child. From there, the toy can just be dragged back to wherever it belongs.
2. Reset the toy, then drag it back to where it belongs.
From there, your child or toddler is now free from the cursed bug!
I suppose if you don't mind having your child basically becoming a statue, you could always just cheat their needs to avoid their needs dropping too low, but that'd be kind of boring, wouldn't it?
