I've had real trouble with the weights on my current project. The mesh isn't similar to any other EA item so I painted the weights by hand (I know, I know, but it's the only thing that worked). Here is the mesh I imported into studio (which moves correctly): And here is the mesh after exporting it from studio, after the weights have changed for some reason: I have already cleaned the weights, and I'm using Blender version 2.70. Here are the package files if anyone wants to have a look (1 is the original and 2 is the distorted version): simfileshare.net/folder/71316/Really confused about what's going on here. Hopefully someone with more experience will have a better idea. (Edit: the dress is supposed to have no arms)

You have 5 bones per vertex in those areas. Studio removed the 5th (and more bones) when you import a mesh like this one. Game reads only 4 bones per vertex. You need to limit total to 4 bones. Read my reply here.

Thanks Feyona. I deleted the weights in those areas that I didn't need and it worked perfectly
