I used the exact same image for both, yet the new ones are darker and darken his hair? I tested them on a female sim and her earrings and lipstick did the same thing as the guy's hair. Any idea why or how I can fix this? They should both look the same I don’t know what’s happening.

There is no way to tell just looking at pictures. You need to share the file

Update: Okay so I did use the wrong image the first time. I found a lighter sclera version that I had saved and tested it, and it looked like the old file. But then after I updated them all I'm still having the darkening issue. I don't get it. I *saw* the difference in S4S. I know it's lighter. I don't have the other file in my mods conflicting with it so I don't know why it's doing this. Here is the file: www.simfileshare.net/download/1177332/

I have this issue too here and there, and I noticed that certain hair styles and clothing is causing the darkening of the eyes. Even some earrings. And this bahaviour is not only CC related. EA stuff does it too. I remember it happening randomly with my old file. Like I would click on an outfit category and suddenly the eyes would be darker. I never thought much of it. But now with all of them looking that way it's super annoying. I have my old defaults and the new eye colors in my game and you can see the difference when you click them.

I've tried to play around in CAS to see if I could get it to go away but so far nope. It just bothers me because they look different from my defaults lol. Like you said though in game it's not that noticeable. Only certain poses look creepy because my sims' eyes go dark
