Okay. I'm brand new at this; please be gentle. I would like to make it so that Child of the Ocean trait-holders can eat fish without getting upset, and ideally also catch fish without getting upset, because that makes absolutely no sense to me. Is there a way, using S4S only (I am on a Mac), to edit existing traits in this manner? I've searched for about three hours and I've found nothing actually giving an answer. Help, please, anyone? I'd be super grateful?

Hi, I can't help with specifics since that'll be a lot of messing around and trial/error since I'm not very familiar with tuning, but you can go into S4S and at the top press Tools and select Extract Tuning... A window with a search bar at the top will come out and you can search "childof" and you should get all the stuff related to the trait. You're going to need to select the things that seem relevant to your situation and export them into a folder. If you go into that folder afterwards, you should see a bunch of XML files. You can edit these with Notepad++ or whatever works for you. For example, if I open "6017E896!0000001C!0000000000033B16.buff_Trait_ChildoftheOcean_FishSadness.BuffTuning.xml" which I got from exporting "buff/buff_Trait_ChildoftheOcean_FishSadness", then I can see it says various things in the file such as "<T n="max_duration">240</T>" and I bet if I changed this number I could make the sadness buff go away pretty much instantly.
After you change stuff around, you can put your files into a package and test it out.

Ohhh, okay, I see - I hadn't gone so far as exporting the XML for the code! Thank you so much, this is really helpful!
