This is definitely a layering issue, if you can provide the .blend file before you created the backfaces for the hair I will attempt to fix it

This is definitely a layering issue, if you can provide the .blend file before you created the backfaces for the hair I will attempt to fix it Thank you so much for the kind offer! But if it is layering then I will keep trying to fix it, as I would like to learn how to do these hairs properly. If you are willing to look at it, will this tutorial be right for the layering issues? sims4studio.com/thread/3857/most-transparency-issues-alpha-glassIt is the one that I have been using up till now as it seems to be the most recommended, at least in my google searches and search of these forums. If you know of one that might serve me better could you link it? Again, thank you so much for being so willing to help!

Yes thats the one, you should use 3ds max if you have it, in blender it is a little bit more difficult and it won't show you all the problems you can use this post to see how you would do it in blender I would say that people making alpha hair often don't go for Blender as a main program. 3ds Max is the first choice as well as some that use Cinema 4d or another more advanced software. Blender is capable of rendering transparency issues actually, just nobody does because it's a bit tricky to set up the program. Here is a video on which settings you'd need to tweak: Here is a transparency issue I induced to show that is possible: You can fix it as the same you'd do in 3ds max. Going for each plane mesh, pressing P to split into a new group until you finish all of them. Then you regroup them in the correct order. Make sure to select first the ones in the top and last the ones in the background. Fixed!: Again, as annabluu told you, this method is not the best to fix it simply because it's harder and Blender might not have the best render engine for this. However you can try to fix them going with this method and see were it goes if you don't have 3ds. It's not garanteed that you'd success but you can surely try.

Okay so I did that, in blender since I honestly could not figure out 3Ds Max. In blender it looked fine so I imparted it to a fresh package. Then the texture doesn't show up. At all. I get little body textures all over my hair. here is the package: drive.google.com/file/d/142GyNhQiKTMAZFmBCotayESOGeYnbEMN/view?usp=sharingAnd the blend: drive.google.com/file/d/1vtp3-OYQiSzxi2rDkhlWSz-_hnZ8gBc0/view?usp=sharingI'm really not sure what is happening here. Unless the uvs got messed up with the relayering?
