Hey guys! So I've had this problem for a while, ever since I started experimenting with new meshes using curves and circles: the new mesh is much darker than the EA mesh and seems like its lit from the side instead of the front/top? i have no idea what causes this or how to fix it, I've tried using bezier curves instead of nurbs, blanking/changing the spec and bump maps, twisting the bevel object of the curves, nothing. Is it a normals issue? Does anyone have any idea what causes this or how to fix it? Thank you guys so much! package and blend files with the hair joined and hair separated into strands(bangs/front pieces are new mesh, bob is EA)

I'm dumb and didn't put the link in to the download, but I just fixed it!

I figured it out! Not sure which one did it but I copied the skin modifier from the EA mesh to the bangs and unwrapped the uv_1 and now it looks fine!
