Custom anthro wolf bodyparts - Beta
Hi everybody
This is my anthro wolf mod for the sims 4, in contains separate ears, tail head and skin texture. For a long time I wanted to create a anthro wolf mod for a game. Since it wasn't possible for the first game I tried with, I took the ears, head and tail from my complete figure and created it for the sims 4. So the ears, face and the tail is created from scratch and rigged to the sim skeleton.
It should work with just the base game.
It works with male, female
The eyes looks weird for vampires
What this mod contain:
- A canine head
- One type of left ear
- One type of right ear
- A tail
- 2 Skintones: White and brown/cream
- One type of left ear
- One type of right ear
- A tail
- 2 Skintones: White and brown/cream
The fur texture is created in the semi realistic way to look like the way the fur is created for the pets and to keep the original style. The headform is modeled close to the real deal.
How to use / Info:
- To apply the head to the sim, chose face details, the place where you find wrinkles and freckles, and choose the head. The ears and the tail is optional. The color of the ears and tail is based on what skincolor you choose. To edit the head and face, you simply push and pull the areas where you want to edit the head and face.
- All the areas you normally would be able to edit in CAS, can technically be done on the custom head. But there are some different areas where you have to push or pull to edit the chin, the nosebridge and nose twist. All facepart presets should work and can make the face adjustments easier the final corrections/touch can be done by pull/push.
- Hats can be used, but you might find the shadow effect from the hat on the tail or misplaced on the head. The reason for this is because the tail texture use some of the free space the face texture have, and it is also where the shadow is placed on the texture map. You might also find that the shadow won't reach up to the hat, this is because the head is a bit lower than the standard sim head to make it
more canid like.
- Hair can be used, but all hair types that have painted hair texture in the facearea will be shown on the nose, tail and other parts. Typical hair that can be used is long and/or a few styled hair types.
Tips:
When creating a new sim with the canine head the nose will often be deformed inward, to fix it just pull the nose out
or before you apply the wolf head just make the sim nosetip longer/pointy.
Known issues:
- Under the sim there is some black mesh that deforms with the mouth, when the sim moves the mouth.
- In some rare cases when the sim eat in certain outfits the arm that holds the dish with food will be streched above the head.
- Glasses can be used but might not look ideal.
- Most of the fine adjustment for the face can't work for some reason, maybe because the eyes is placed farther apart.
