Hello! I'm dipping my toes into modding for the first time. I'd like to create a lifespan editing mod, to go with the new patch release. I have followed the steps in this tutorial: simsvip.com/2016/06/17/create-mod-lets-make-mod/I was able to create/save the package and edit the age ranges to be a little more to my liking. After loading up a new family in my game (new save) I noticed the stock ages were still in play. What sort of troubleshooting tips do you have? Since it's my first mod I'm not really sure where to start, since I've already tried to follow the tutorial a second time. I also downloaded a MTS mod with similar functions which also didn't work(just an FYI). There also seems to be a weird bug in my game where my toddlers keep getting aging up notifications but stay toddlers. Not sure that's relevant but I'd like to give all the info I have. Update: It looks like the teen age range is working! This is the one age that I made shorter. Adult and YA I made significantly longer, so this may be a factor too.
