I finally made an account on here because I guess I'm sort of panicking.
Yesterday, I deleted the CC that appeared to be broken. They were clothes, so it was easy to see.
However, afterwards, I was unable to play my game?! I loaded the game and everything was fine until I clicked on my family to play and the household loaded, but all the Sims in the household disappeared. Just a few minutes ago, I tried creating a new Sim (household) and when I went to move them into a new apartment, an error appeared.
What could have possibly happened?

Sounds still like bad cc, take it all out and load the game after deleting the localthumbscache.package cache file. If it isn't the cc, then maybe the game file has become corrupted, in the save folders you'll find previous saves of the game. Save your current game file, rename one of the saves to load and see if that's it If not that do a repair on the game, which is done through the origin app.

Yeah, i agree with Rorsdors. take out all of the CC and then delete anything in the sims 4 folder that say "cache" on them and load the game and the family up without CC and see if the problem persists. Then it's likely still some sort of CC. I would even try a no cc version of a brand new save and pull the family into the new game to see if they're still botched up. If it's still broken without CC and on a brand new save then I'd suggest seeking the EA headquarters for some assistance.
If you can catch a screenshot of the error you're seeing that might help to figure it out too.
