Hey, I'm trying to override the two base game vents by editing the textures so they don't have those ugly blue shadows, my problem is, the texure import option is greyed out, this only happens with the override option in S4S, and also seems to only happen to these two objects and maybe some other objects. The Sims 4 Studio is also up to date. Does anyone have a solution to this?

I'm having the same issue. I'm new to S4S, but I noticed it's happening on this item, but I haven't had the issue on others.

As a workaround, I found that you can manually add the texture in the Warehouse to make the Import button work. First you need to find the group and instance numbers of the default texture by clicking on Model LOD 0, then Meshes>Edit Items, click Phong, then Edit Items under Material Entries, click on the Default VariantID, then Edit Items under MaterialBlock, copy the Group and Instance numbers of the Diffuse Map.
For the "Boxy HVAC Roof Vent" these numbers are: Group: 00000000 Instance: 184334128181099F
For the "HVAC Vent with Exhaust Fan": Group: 00000000 Instance: ED6B0C1BE7087186
In the Warehouse, click "Add" at the bottom, then in the dropdown choose "DSTImageResource" as the Type, Group is 00000000, and add the Instance of the default image you are replacing. Now the Import button should work normally, or you can just replace the DST image in the Warehouse.
