I'm having a problem with S4S changing a texture file when I import it. Pictured is the texture file as it should look versus how it looks in both S4S and in game. I've also exported the mesh with the texture and opened it in Blender. There the texture is still broken. But I can then manually import my texture file into Blender and it looks correct.

Try saving your texture as a .dds and importing that

Same thing happened. And it's not just this one particular item. Other swatches that have different designs are doing it. There will just be random colors out of place scattered around. I've noticed that it only happens on swatches that have designs on them like the dots here, bowties, etc. Here is another example where you can see wrong color pixels in the tie.

I doubled the texture size and that seems to have cleaned it up.

See this explanation about why image loses quality. It happens even in EA's items in the areas with high contrast. For bright or beige items I often use .dds when import (and save a copy as .png in case I need to edit it later), and all other swatches are saved in .png.
