So I just got Laundry Day, and I want to say that I was surprised to find out that the laundry hampers/basket that already existed in my game are still just decorative, but... well... I've found stand-alone mods for the Parenthood hamper and one of the base game hampers, but not the open laundry basket from the base game. Before I download those two, I thought I'd see if there's a mod that ads functionality to all the hampers that came out before Laundry Day and/or just the plastic laundry basket. (Or any other hamper type things that I might be forgetting about, if there are any.) |

In theory it would be easy to clone the open laundry basket and change it tuning & tags to have it act as a hamper. It just wouldn’t have the geostate changes of clothes being added to it.

I don't think there is an all-in-one mod for the other hampers, so you'll need to either make the other ones or just wait till someone else does it.

It just wouldn’t have the geostate changes of clothes being added to it. Makes sense. I honestly wouldn't mind that as much has having a hamper-looking thing in my Sim's bedroom then watching them drop their laundry on the floor. I don't mind the ones the came with laundry day, but they all kind of look the same - and the open one, and the one that came with Parenthood are so cute! |

I've never done any modding before, myself. Do you think this would be a reasonably straightforward project for a complete newbie, or would I be better off leaving it to the experts? |
