I'm on version 1.3.0.7 for Mac.
I exported all textures for a wall, edited it, and imported my edited textures. It looked really blurry in game. So I tested something: exported all textures, then imported just the diffuse texture back in, using the original texture I just exported. When I imported it back, it was blurry. To be clear, this is the original texture I exported; I had not edited it at all. I tested this exporting all textures, exporting just one texture, with the auto resize box ticked and unticked, and every combination thereof. Every time I got the same result: the original texture was noticeably blurry when I imported it back in. I saw an old thread here with someone who had the same issue and was able to solve it by toggling auto resize on and off while re-importing the original texture a few times. I did try that, but it didn't make a difference for me.
This is a screenshot of the preview in Sims 4 Studio. I exported the medium diffuse texture, imported it back in, and then took this screenshot showing the un-exported short diffuse texture on the left and the exported-then-immediately-imported-again medium diffuse texture on the right. There's definitely a seam between the two where you can see the difference in texture, and I feel like the blurry one is a bit squished as well.
By the way, my attempt at editing this involved the quoining texture. When I exported all textures, edited the corner texture, and imported that, it shows up as crisp as the original. It seems like only the regular textures—the ones that have options to export individually—get blurry like this when exported.
Does anyone know what's going on here?
