I recently made a remesh of the ICYA chest from Discover University (which is a storage chest that can go into a Sim's inventory). I was just about to release it when I read about a bug in the original object which can make objects stored in the chest inaccessible after moving. I am debating whether I should release now with a warning, or wait until EA fixes the problem.
I need to use the DU chest as a base because it has these essential properties: 1. It allows a separate inventory for each chest on the lot. 2. It is re-nameable. 3. It can go into the inventory.
Another question: If EA does fix the ICYA chest, will my object automatically be fixed or will I have to make any changes to it? It doesn't have any custom tuning.
Thank you!

I say release it with a warning. I don't think EA is going to fix it anytime soon since we've had 2 patches already and no word on it. And it should automatically be fixed since it uses the same tuning (unless the change was through tags or something, which it more than likely won't be).

Thank you, I was leaning that way myself. I went ahead and put it on my blog with a warning.
