Hi hi powerful friends, I need a way to use Alpha on a fur suit, but without make it so transparent, by using glass shader even only using alpha channel on texture key points.(Fur areas as picture show), almost whole suit got transparent. I know for hairs you duplicate mesh, invert normals fuse and its done, any way to do the same but for suits? I want try to avoid doble mesh fuse due to weights and mesh size. or alternative to glass shader that use alpha keypoints?
thanks but problem is more complex than create a simple cut, challenge here its that part of the original mesh, needs DDS texture mask, but sims 4 read that DDS as a blank area or dark area in full suits, best option so far were duplicate mesh, invert normals, put in another cut, but problem still there. guess for sims 4 its not possible.
I am not really sure what the issue is? the in-game screenshot of the 2 post looks fine except for the loss of texture quality
xd thats the funny part, I even trying resizing texture UV0 out of EA body parts to avoid any match with default textures and trnasparent parts turn into white or blank or dark body textures under EA body mesh. he looks great in LOD3 and 2 but LOD0 is scary
