First: I cloned my recolor of the tableNightstandC1x1 from Base Game and tuned it to be saleable. Will it work if you don't own GTW? LotusCo-Red WinesSecond: Sims 3 conversion cloned the deco locker from Base Game and used tuning from GTW. Will it work if you don't own GTW or can it be listed as a Base Game? Will the tuning still work if they don't own GTW? Antique CabinetThird: Sims 3 conversion cloned the shelfWall1x1_GP01GENwoodwork from OR and used tuning from GTW. Will it work if you don't own GTW or OR? Does it have to be listed as a OR or GTW? Can it be listed as Base Game? If ether Base Game or OR will the tuning still work if they don't own GTW? My understanding is that any and all expansion pack items will work with base game, because S4S always includes the mesh. I'd test them for you but I have all the expansions >.<

I can't tell for sure since I also have all games, but the tunings for expansion and game packs are not included in the patches. Presumably if you use a tuning that is not base-game, your object will probably not function correctly without the expansion that the tuning came with. If you've extracted and modified the tuning in your own package rather than just referencing it in the object definition, there may be a higher chance that it will work if it is a simple object (like a decorative one). If it were a more complex object with expansion specific interactions, animations, etc. then I would expect it still to not function properly without that expansion.

I have not dived into anything dealing with animation yet. So far all I have done with tuning is make things sellable and added an inventory window to my object. So in theory then they should all work with Base Game, they just won't show the icon text "mark an item as For Sale"?

I think that the sellable tuning was actually included in the patch because EA updated most, if not all, of their own objects to have this. So if you use that tuning your item should work just fine in the base game.
