I know there's already a wheel chair out there, and I know I can't be picky, but would it be possible to make an antique wheelchair? Not, like, with animations or anything. Just a sitting chair. It would add worlds of story telling potential. I know CC takes time and lots of dedication. If someone could look into this request, I would be extremely grateful. Making objects from scratch must be really hard. An antique wheelchair would be no cakewalk. There's a lot to be said for just reading this thread, and I can't express my thanks. Thanks! Like, more than thanks. I'm in your debt! Wheelchair something like:

If you think about it, in the early days after the invention of it, the wheelchair is essentially just a modified chair. Chop off the legs throw on some wheels and there you have it.

But I don't know how to modify O:

I could make that wheelchair if you have someone willing to do the rest of the leg work! I don't do body mods.

It doesn't even need to be a chair. It can be "clutter" and just decoration!

Oh! Ok. Funny thing is we had a wheelchair somewhat like it that Jerome made for Sims 1 years ago, but I don't think I have the max file anymore...booo. I recall that we had to use the child animations for him, because of the height differences. Making a chair probably wouldn't be too difficult though. I was thinking about having a mobile character in a wheelchair, but as I said, we had to make him use child animations and behaviors because of height and since sims now age up, that probably wouldn't work well.

So I started on the chair, so far I have the general shape of it, but still have a little more modeling to do. I want to test all of that before I start mapping and making it pretty.

Thanks so much! If there's anything I can do for you, just ask. Like, do you need any packs for Sims 4? Would be glad to buy them. Thanks again!

I actually have nothing for the Sims 4, except the original game. I have been working on this diligently. I looked at a lot of similar chairs trying to figure out how to make the back. What do you think? And is there a particular color of wood you would like? And I can make a few different colors of leather too.

It looks amazing so far. There really isn't much more to add! If you think it needs recolors, go ahead and add them. This is just incredible. If you need anything, just ask. I don't think I'll be able to pay you back for this... I love wheelchairs and now I love you :D
Where will you be uploading this? Will it be open for the public? I think it would be a great idea to share this with the rest of the Simming community.
Thanks again. A thousand thanks. A MILLION THANKS.

I haven't figure out how I am going to design the site yet. www.simfreaks.com I will probably be adding a Sims 4 link to the front and making a simple sims 4 site. But when I am finished, I can post a link to the file here. I am working on the specular maps. I had to redo the back of the chair, because Blender didn't like it and kept collapsing part of it. I did make it look a little different, so I hope you like it, I can easily change it more like the other if you prefer it. I also had to work on some poly reduction. It's a pretty high poly for a chair... I made it from a dining chair, although I wouldn't use it with a table with outside legs, as the wheels cut into it a bit. I am going to make some slight positioning adjustments to see if that can be avoided I am having a little dilemma with the feet rests...the sims feet go through them a bit, as their feet rest of the floor. www.simfreaks.com/images/sneekpeek/Wheelchair_Stage3.png

If you made this from a chair you can change the position of the bone/slot that the sims put their feet into. The quick way to do this is to follow THIS tutorial.
