Hi everyone,
I'm Gary and I'm excited about creating some content for TS4. I've been playing The Sims from the very beginning and also Sim City/Cities Skylines. I'm a keen virtual architect and have built probably dozens of houses and pubs (in a British style), as well as larger buildings such as malls and concert venues. I had a break away from The Sims for a few years (not for any particular reason) but rediscovered the Sims 3 last year and spent hours finding and downloading custom content - mainly 50s and 60s vintage stuff. I am mainly playing the Sims 4 now, I particularly like the Get to Work EP as my Sims have harboured great unfulfilled dreams to be shopkeepers!
I'm hoping to make some windows in the first instance - 20th century metal framed Art-Deco style and I was delighted to see that S4S uses Blender for the 3D modelling...it's a tool I'm pretty familiar with so it's mainly a case of getting my head round the structure of packages and the various LODs/shadow masks.
In real life I live in Southampton, in the UK and I am a keen traveller. I have a black cat and a budgie.

Hi All
I used to do recolours in TS2, mainly kids, toddlers, nurseries. Did some recolours for the maternity wear in InTeen. Been away from the game for 4yrs.couldn't wrap my head around TS4-looked clumsy and child like to me, plus I'd just had my own baby too, so time was reduced. I've just rediscovered my love for the Sims and I'm just downloading the EP's etc. Noticed not much in the way of the CC I was used to in TS2 & 3, so thought I'd better recreate some. So needed a tool like the old SimPe, and my search led me here. So, I'm apologising in advance as there'll be many questions asked and I hope you're all patient with me and get me up and running again (or recolouring haha)

Hiya... newbie member here. I've been playing Sims since... the first version of Sim City. GOD, I AM OLD. I start a simblog some time ago but had to give it up before it really got off the ground. Anyway, I have just started to dip my toes (literally just started like 16 hours ago) into the fun of CC creation. I'm an intimate and contemporary portrait photographer in real life so of course I finally decided to create my dream studio/retail shop and I need pictures for the walls... which of course leads me down the path of posing sims, in-game photography and creating new CC art. Don't know why I haven't done this until now. I think I was avoiding it because I am typically NO-CC for my own sim games. I look forward to getting stuck into the forum and learning as much as I can. Just as a side note: I have found Kuwaii's (sorry for the bad spelling) awesome photography lighting kit. Are there any others that I should know about?

New member here. I wanted to stop in here and say how much I appreciate the hard work you put into Sims4 Studio. I downloaded it hoping to fix some glitches I was having after Cats and Dogs. Some of my custom content, and a few beds from Maxis, were not working properly. Thanks to you a quick 'batch fix' made everything right again. Now I am using it to delete some custom content that has grown stale. And as I am constantly on the lookout for new content, the ability to see what I am deleting is a huuuuge assist and helps me keep my cc folder in top shape. I am overhauling my entire game before Seasons is released so every bit of help in doing that is appreciated very, very much. Thank you!

Hello! I just registered today. I have yet to download the Sims 4 Studio, but I am excited to try it. I think it's amazing that there are such cool people who would work so hard to make something so great - and distribute it for free. I'm thankful. I love playing the Sims and I'm looking forward to being a part of this group. -carduus

Hey guys. I don't know if you all recognize my username. I'm BloodyScholastic (my Tumblr & blogspot name is TheBleedingWoodland), TS3 CC creator, used to create TS2 CC too since year 2012. I used to postpone creating CC for TS4 because I'm new at TS4 game and not familiar with TS4 creating tool and method (s4studio uses Blender instead of Milkshape) because I have tried unsuccessful tries when following tutorial, there were weird line on object and "blocky" mesh problem when the .obj imported to Blender. Recently I'm able to convert my own CC successfully, from TS3 to TS4 using s4studio, after experienced trial-and-error. Now I have confidence to spread my CC area to TS4 as well. I will post my mesh conversion soon on my blogspot and Tumblr, and hopefully I will able to create more TS4 CC in future.

Stopping by to say Hi!
I little about me. I've been creating CC for over a decade for Sims 2, Sims 3 and now Sims 4. I took a break in 2017 for a year to write a novel and also get my life in some order. Now back creating custom content. Yippee! I'm a PC gamer and drink large quantities of coffee.
Looking forward to getting to know you all.
