Introduction
This tutorial will show you how to change the appearance of the model in the Studio Model Viewer. Using this method you can change the model's skin color, skin features, and even alter the garment to any skin tight garment you want (or completely remove the garments).
If you want to change the model but you don't want to make your own skins for this purpose you can find a nice set that Brujah createdHERE. This set includes many skin colors and the bra/panties have been removed. If you use this set you can just pop one of the skin sets into your Mods folder to see the new skin displayed on the model the next time you open or clone a CAS item.
1. Open the Sim Skin .package using the My Projects Button.
2. The .package will open directly in the Warehouse tab because it is an incomplete .package (contains only images). Click on the image you wish to change. For this example I am changing the adult female but you can change the child image and the adult male image using the same method. Import your edited image using the Import button on the right side near the bottom. 3. Save the .package and place it in your Documents/Sims 4 Studio/Mods folder.
The next time you open a .package or clone a new .package that uses that model your edited skin will show on the model instead of the default one. If you want to switch back you can just remove the .package from your mods folder.
Things to note
1. You can create as many skin .packages as you like for this purpose and you can rename the .packages to something more descriptive.
2. You cannot change the image instance numbers in the .package or it won't work.
3. You can only have one skins .package in your Mods folder at a time and the folder it needs to go in is your Studio Mods folder.

I'm sorry, I've given this several different tries, and it seems so simple, but my model won't show any changes. I made a quick lip package to pop into to test the female skin, and no matter what I do to the skin image I extracted it still shows the badly painted peach default. I installed the newest S4S, downloaded the package, extracted the female skin, hit it with a quick color action to test (CuriousB Chestnut, nice and obvious), import, save. Pop that baby into my Mods folder (was in a subfolder first, but moved it out when it didn't show, but didn't help). No go. I made sure to close S4S and reopen so that it recognized the new file. Did I miss something?
BTW, thank you, this is a wonderful idea!

Hi Boo7227, can you send me your edited .package that isn't showing on the model as it should?

Hi Boo7227, this is showing up on the model just fine in my Studio (where it looks really great btw)
There are a couple things that could cause a problem. The first is that the .package needs to be placed in your Documents/Sims 4 Studio/Mods folder...not the Sims 4 mods folder. Also, you need to have Sims 4 Studio 2.5.1.0 (Joy) because older versions of Joy don't have this feature. Lastly, Studio can only use one of these .packages at a time. If you have more than one of them in your Studio/Mods folder at once this will confuse Studio.

Well I feel sheepish. The STUDIO/Mods folder. I've got two kids running around crazy this morning, and I didn't read as carefully as I thought. After digging up the correct folder, it now works fine. Sorry, I thought all of the files were kept in the Program Files.

So this may sound crazy. But i'm slow at catching on. How do you get a image with no under cloths to export back into Sims 4 Studio? I tried recoloring the under cloths to match the skin but it don't look right at all.. Sorry for sounding so dumb.
Never mind my stupidity I have figured it out..

need help with sims4 when im in cas person is wearing a random bra and bikini for every category als in sims4 studio a grey bra and panties appear need to get them removed
The model in S4S will wear a default garment for the top or bottom if your item does not override it. Beyond that, the default base skin texture has the bra and panties because there was no texture readily available in the game that has the full skin texture without clothes. You can use brujah's override of the skin tones HERE to get rid of the clothes on the base skin texture in Studio, but depending on what you are making, the sim model will still wear clothes on the parts that you are not overriding.
Please do not PM me with modding questions. Post in the Creator Help forum.

There is a batch fix that will retag incorrectly tagged garments that show up on your Sims when they bathe or shower. There is a tutorial showing how to use that batch fix HERE. This will only change the tags so new Sims will not wear that garment in the shower. In some cases, Sims who were wearing an incorrectly tagged garment when you saved the game will become permanently bugged. This bugging causes them to always wear clothes in the shower even if the item that bugged them is removed from the game. The Studio batch fix cannot fix a bugged Sim. All it can do is make it so new Sims will not become bugged.
