blender's "Eevee" engine does seem to be able to show transparency issues, you can model your hair in blender 2.8 and then import it into blender 2.78 and into studio

As I see in their description Eevee sorts per object. Game renders per triangle depends on face index.

Hiya, thanks for showing me how to separate the hair using Blender 2.8 madeolisi It might be easier using the newer version to sort out the hair meshes to remove the transparency issues if I want to continue trying to fix the problems. Also, I'm not sure about the textures not working well on the Sims, I haven't had issues with converting clay hair from different games before using the textures from the models, I am just not having any luck fixing the transparency issues as sorting out the layers seems to be trial and error after testing them in the game. Have you had any luck with converting the FF7R hair, madeolisi? Thanks.
