Hello dear forum! Perhaps this topic has already been discussed, but I can not find the answer. My question is how to remove this part. I am trying to convert adult hairstyle to a children's hairstyle, but this part of the head always arises.  I found a diffusemap where it can be selected, but did not find the option to "delete".  |

Hi. The scalp is a mesh, not just a texture. Select the hair, switch to Edit mode (TAB), select a few faces on the scalp, press Ctrl L to select the rest of the scalp ( if more is selected, switch to UVs in the menu to the left), press Delete and choose Faces

Thanks for the answer! But my sims studio skills are very poor at the moment, so I don’t understand what it means to “select few faces on the scalp”. Where is this feature located?

You need to watch some hair converting tutorials on youtube, because even if i were to show you how to delete the hairline, that would still not be enough. The adult hair will not match perfectly with the scalp of a child, so you will need to reshape the hairline anyway.

I already watched the videos of Kiara Zurk and Jelly Paws about hair convert, but there is nothing about skin removal.
Please, if possible, write to me step by step, where to click for delete?

1). select the base shape ( has cut number 0002), hide other meshgroups; 2). switch to Edit mode; 3). switch to Vertex select; 4). in UV editor enable sync; 5). in UV Editor, holding Ctrl, LMB-click-and-drag to select the area you need. In 3d view press Delete and choose Faces; 6). once done, enable Proportional editing, select one vertex along the hairline, press G to move, scroll mouse wheel up to make the radius smaller, move the mouse to adjust the hairline to the head
