made a dress for this character: only she will be wearing it, i didn't plan cut numbers.... i followed the same steps as my previous attempt, which i figured wouldn't work and it didnt. it ended up smearing her boob all over the floor...XD do i have to make cuts? i'm going to attempt it right now, taking the meshes i used for this, cutting it like those pieces and then giving it the same cut numbers as yfBody_GP07Scientist and importing the mesh onto that, but i'm not sure that will work either.. any ideas??

well, trying the cut numbers thing was the closest i've gotten to a fix, but they showed through when you changed the weight..grr tried merging all and then adding to a CC with 1 mesh group, makes a weird crotch glitch packageblender

You do not need to split the outfit into meshgroups, but you need to clone something that has the same number of meshgroups and is affected by the same vertex groups. Clone DressPanels instead and import your blend there.
The issue you are witnessing is caused by the fact that you replaced a mesh not affected by skirt bones ( and possibly breast bones) with a mesh that is affected by them. You do not need to clone other creator's cc to make your own, and if you did not, please do not rename the package (Xyzzy_Aveira_Wednesday Dress_), we need to know what you cloned to identify the problem.
Also, you can delete all bone_bone_shape and rig.001-016
Do not use Make blank button, it removes maps from the file thus disrupting its structure.
