spookypeach , (and anyone else continuing to follow the now outdated fix guide) Use Cmar's tool to fix your default eyes: modthesims.info/d/643164/ts4-default-eyes-fixer.htmlSims 4 studio hasn't been updated, it grabs the outdated eye resources, which EA changed for some reason in the Eco lifestyle patch. Cmar's tool converts the eyes to the new resource, restoring functionality in both Sims 4 Studio, and In-game. The issue is known, the people behind studio simply haven't updated support for the new resources eyes use now. Until Studio has been patched to grab the new resources, please refer to Cmar's tool, it's the simplest and quickest way to restore default eyes to functionality.

I'll add the reminder to take eye shine removers out of your Mods folder as well. For example: LUUMIA_mod_BG+AlienEyeShineRemover.package I'm hoping the fix and eye shine removers will eventually coexist

cmar fix has errors, again... Some eyes changing together (bug) ... Trying to import texture - and every swatch with number 9, 14 or 18 - texture changing with them - just like there were linked somehow... so lame :(
