Yes, it was actually a mail woman, wearing incredibly high heels. Could explain the slow deliveries...

juliej To be honest haven´t been fishing very much in the game. So Nick catched a uh, wooden chest looks like? I remember you could catch old shoes, in Sims 2. Very nice snapshots! paika Yes only postmen wear long boots. I recolored them a bit.

Ooh! A rock star! Wish I had him in my game then. My neighborhood is full of bums and dishwashers. Almost every sim works in culinary career, with few exceptions. My most interesting sim is a geeky scientist, and my richest one used to be a lazy chief of police, constantly taking vacation days or fake sick days, only coming to work to earn promotions she didn't deserve. After 11 extra promotions, she got bored and decided to open a bakery, which didn't really work all too well, so I moved on to play my scientist. Science is cool. But, well, it's nothing like being a rock star. My sim's too geeky to become one though.

paika LOL you are lucky, 90% of my characters are just unemployed. If they need money, they walk in the garden and scream motherload. :-D You could play the lottery in the game via computer? After nearly one year we get finaly dishwasher. Nearly ONE year LOL, EA ist pretty fast huh? I opened a bakery called: "Trash for cash" truly a LOT of work! Never tried the science career, what is so exiting about it?
juliej So we can follow our sim to 3 jobs cop, doc and scientist. The other jobs are just uh, well the sim vanish and after some hours he come back home. Very sad actually, i expected more.

What is so exciting about science career? Only the best items ever! I gotta say TS3 Inventor career was more fun, because you could go to your neighbors' houses and detonate their furniture, and nothing could beat that. But the inventions themselves weren't very exciting. TS4 has this sim-ray thing though, it lets you do so many things. Manipulate sims into doing various tasks, like cleaning, turn objects into totally random new ones: I tested this on my sim's toilet - it turned into a regular chair, OOPS! It's lots of fun. Of course, sometimes this object causes a fire, when you play with it too much, but it also acts as a fire extinguisher (freeze ray).
There's a bunch of other inventions, I haven't reached the top of that career yet, so I can't list them all. But there's this cloning machine - I thought it's broken, because it didn't let me clone fish, but then I tried cloning rocks and it works. Maybe EA thought cloning living things would be controversial, I don't know. There's also a wormhole generator that an alien came through to visit once. And of course you get this laboratory table as a career reward, and playing with this chemistry set can make your sim dazed from toxic fumes. Yay! Toxic fumes are back! I missed getting fined 500$ for polluting the neighborhood back in TS1. Well, and apart from that it lets you brew potions. Yawn.

paika I should "play" Sims 4 much more, instead of creating, recoloring etc. Once i had Sims 3, but it was just good for one thing. I could heat up my living room in cold days. LOL well truly sounds like fun! You can turn the chair into a toilet again? Once i downloaded the cloning machine, wormhole generator and other stuff. Can´t wait to try this in my game. But so far i´m too busy with other things.

I tried, that chair just turned into another chair. So I sold it and bought a new toilet. But then I bought a bunch of cheap plants and turned them into some more expensive furniture. Well, and caused some fires, but it wouldn't be fun without that risk, would it...?

paika Turn the chair with a chainsaw into a pit latrine LOL. I wonder if it´s possible, to extract fire as objects for the game? Very good idea for my tale actually hmm.
