skins for TS4 are far more complicated then previous games. You have the base skin colour (what you actually choose from the skin menu) and then skin details are added on top of that base. The details are not just limited to freckles, nasal creases, or wrinkles, but everything from lips, noses, cheeks, to full body type details. These are all separate and applied over the base colour you have chosen. What people have done is make an overlay which is nondefault to circumvent this (I believe there is a robot one around somewhere). For making a default one, you are probably out of luck for the moment. Making default skin colours and skintones is still not well understood (especially skintones), and it needs to be done manually through s4pe by extracting the tone files from the fullbuild package files in your game directory. it is tedious work and not always easy. Unfortunately, at this time, S4S doesn't support the creation of skin colours and default skin tones, only detail overlays that are readily available in the community. The only tutorial I know is one for creating default skin colours on MTS, which you can find here.

peacemaker, Studio is a complete resource editor and is able to extract files from the Fullbuilds. It has a powerful sorting feature and an always present image preview for all resources that are image files. There is no need to resort to s4pe for extracting files from EA's fullbuilds. I've written a brief mini-tutorial going over this because it seems a lot of people are not aware of Studio's capability in this regard I was unaware that the creation of new skin tones was considered difficult. This can be investigated to see what can be done on the Studio side to make things easier.

With s4pe being rather neglected, that definitely helps a lot orangemittens. Can't say I knew it was there, but it is not something i use often enough to notice. As for the skintones, the difficulty really comes down to the time needed to pull them altogether and understand what resource is what. Then comes the tedious part of generating the new instance numbers and linking them manually for the files. If check out that tutorial, it is also mentioned that there is an issue with longer instance numbers for the tone files too (not sure if that is still the case). And that is just for making skin colours. I would really hate to think what would go into making a new default skintone. I think once it is known what every value controls, and it becomes easily accessible to import new files, it will be much easier to deal with since ts4 skins have so many parts. So making it a simpler process would be more then welcome

i will look into it little more, i saw that skin tone from full build but it only change the tone not the texture, i want create 100% custom texture, i was able to make a full texture on skin details, but that from some reason loses it color and darkness in game, need to research little more...

Yes, please. It seems far more challenging than I imagine it needs to be.

So is there any current tutorials? I've seen many CC Makers create them...
