I do have that issue in CAS. It's annoying but re-opening that category fixes it. An easier fix I discovered is selecting one of the things in that category for your sim to wear then hitting the undo button- it'll realign all the thumbnails in that particular row. Cool. I'll try that out next time ^_^

I have quite a few folders 'cause I want everything sorted. I have a few merged Build-Buy .packages. that's probably 70 more if they're unmerged :p Next question: pros and cons of merging cc files? Not that I even know how to do it, and with so little, meh... but, I am curious. Seems like it has potential to be a pain in the ass around update/patch days. So I'd like to know more about upsides and downsides. Finn Quill you may have created a monster, here.

Merging is simple with S4S, and the biggest downside is it's much harder to edit it, but it saves space and possibly loading time.

Things to try=reason to fire up my game. (Kinda stuck re storyline... been waiting for inspiration, taking a small play break.) Maybe after the school run, I'll do that. Thanks for both tips! Although, plovernod what *exactly* do you mean? I've tried switching from party to athletic (example) and back, and still had wonky lineups. Yeah, we all know around 9am I'm gonna be in CAS, right? LOL!

Mine is not good, and I'm looking for where the laaaaaaaag is coming from. Save time, also. Saving takes a lot longer than loading, almost (not QUITE but getting there...) to (unmodded, remember) Sims3 all parts loaded "take a shower" time lengths. Kinda early in 4 for it to be doing THAT, for either saves OR loads. Isn't it?

I imagine that the possibility that it helps a little is pretty much guaranteed, but whether it helps enough to be worth it, I dunno.

This series of Studio has updating Studio's merge feature as one of the top priorities. Once the update is complete you will be able to work with merged.packages from the My CC button as if the contents were inside a folder. If there are items inside that you want to remove you'll be able to remove them. If you want to add a new item to the merged.package you'll be able to do that too

I probably don't have enough cc to make merging worth it, right now. However, orangemittens THANKS! This is good news, I did download Sugar Beta yesterday and LOOKED at a few pieces of cc (baby steps)... Very Cool. Still haven't touched any, but that day is coming. I'm sitting here now regretting not getting more involved here when I made this account back in June. I bet I've missed some COOL stuff! Y'know, I have authority issues... my first thought, when you liked my first post, was, oops, I better behave, she's spotted me! LOL edit: fix OM tag.

About the CAS buggy windows... mine won't do it now. Kinda like the car not making "that noise" for the mechanic, I guess. Eh, I'll keep this in mind, the fix(es)... it's a sure bet I *will* see it happen again (overspaced rows/columns) at some point.

Probably, mine 'came back', but the fix mentioned earlier works quite well. I think you expressed a bit of confusion with it. If you still don't get how it works, if you have misaligned columns, just change an item in that category (so like, if you're in the shirts, just click a shirt, any shirt, so your Sim changes to that) and then ctrl-z to undo it and that'll reset the columns.

J Mzungu lol is this a competition now? ;P You know that getting 1st and second place here is bad... I keep running out of disk space. I should finish and delete some old games.

If im ever close to winning, then yes its a competition. If I'm no where near, then no. lol
Yeah... I often think I need to scale down on my CC folder, but it's so hard to know what's what. I wish we could delete the CC files from within the game.
