So I added some CC today and Sims 4 would start but would stop loading. So I removed the CC I've added today but it still stops loading. What have I done

Grr...I feel your pain. What was the issue with the tattoo that made the game not start?

I have no idea what the issue was. The game would just stop loading when it reached the screen that says sims 4.

You should upload the file somewhere and see if someone might be able to pinpoint what the issue was. I'm glad you got your game fixed though .

I've had similar trouble when installing an item into Sims 4 by mistake that was for Sims 2 or Sims 3 Maybe the tattoo was for one of the other sim games?

Julie J That happened to me too... the game won't seem to load if you have a piece of ts3 cc in error

I feel your pain! For me, random CC makes my game crash or not load more often then a mod that messes everything up. It's super weird... I've had a piece of hair render my game unplayable for weeks, I've had a tshirt making the game crash after a while and the list goes on.
