Hello, I've been looking all over the Internet to find the answer to my problem but there's nothing.
For few days I'm trying to separete dress - I want to cut a little bit on the belly so that would make a two piece dress (top and skirt). I exported all the needed meshes - top and dress. Than I opened the dress in blender and simply just cut that piece of material which I wanted to get rid off. Also I removed every part of the body like hands and chest - I just leave the top of the dress, skirt and legs. Than I appended the top to fil the body area that I just removed. Next I just joined everything. Now is the problem - when I imported this changed dress nothing actually happend. I mean the material is still there - there is no naked belly. How can I get rid of this material? I trying to use photoshop but I dont know how much material I need to cut off and it's just the same thing all the time - too much material or too little.
Today I was trying to do make just top of this dress - I thought that maybe it will be simpler to make first top and than bottom and just join it together. This time when I got rid of the bottom, legs, hands and a little part of a belly and appended the top and bottom in blender and joined everything in Studio there were no legs and half of a belly.
I really don't know what to do with it. I think I just watched every single movie on youtube and read every single post that might be helpful but I just cannot simply do it.
If someone could please tell me what I'm doing wrong or what I should do - maybe I'm making some mistakes and I even don't know about it. I would be very glad.
I don't have any package of this - I just removed everything but if someone would like to look at it I can do the same thing again.
