If I make wallpapers with baseboard and upper trim, sizes 256/768 short, 256/1024 medium, 256/1280 tall, I have always a problem. I resize the wallpaper for the game to 256/512 short, 256/512 medium and 256/1024 tall. In game the upper trim is not shown up correctly. The upper part is cut off and I do not know why? I am using - Sims 4 Studio - Suger 2.6.1.5. The clone for my wallpapers is a clone of basegame with upper trim and baseboard too. I really do not know what goes wrong. Hope you can help me! Sorry for my bad english, hope I was able to explain my problem. At the moment I have no screenhot to show how it looks like.

Hello rayven71! Check this tutorial by Bakie, and check his annotations below the video. Studio has been updated so you can skip some steps.

Does that line show up when you are using S4Studio, or when you are using TSRW? Because I looked through your TSR gallery and could not see any of your wall coverings that have that issue...

Hello, I only use Sims4Studio and I never had this issue. So I I don´t know how it happens.

Hi matomibotaki. I have given your issue some thought, and I believe that I may know of a reason that this is happening. I once tried to make a set of gradient wall coverings that could be used on multiple stories, but was at the end unsuccessful because of the way in which the wall texture is applied - the top of the wall would show a slim line of the gradient from the bottom of the gradient, as if the texture was wrapped around the wall, which I suspect that it indeed is. The top would have a slim line of texture from the bottom of the mesh. Thinking about the particular problem that you displayed in your attached link, this issue makes sense to me as the reason of your issue. With the texture that you are showing, the white line is actually from a 'wrap' of the texture around the wall coming from the opposite side of the texture, which happens to be white as well. I do wish that there was a way for us to re-wrap the wall meshes to avoid this issue, but I cannot imagine such a task is possible for us as modders. A possible solution for your texture would be to clone one of the wall coverings that have 'corner' textures, such as many of the brick ones, then make a matching texture of the pattern that could be placed in the center. Just an idea as to why that happened that makes sense to me as to why... Cheers.

Oh yes, that really make sense. I turned the wall around in Sims4Studio and it looked like you explained it. I will try it with a corner wall and I hope it will work for me!!! THANK YOU A LOT!!!

I remember reading about that issue some time ago. The devs actually responded and confirmed that happens because (as minimoster also said) the texture on the wall is applied by wrapping around it. So your texture should pretty much be identical at the edges so the seams won't be visible (which means modular wallpapers/murals are not really possible) A workaround for this is to change the DiffuseScale, so your wallpaper will function as a multi-tile wallpaper (such as the stone wallpapers in the game.) This does make the mural look perfect without seams, however there is a downside to this and that is that you can't control where the mural will start or finish. This is based from the wall's position on the lot. Personally I never managed to make the corner wallpapers work...so you could give this method a try.
