Hi there. I'm new to these forums and to Sims 4 Studio. I just downloaded Blender 2.59 (32 bit version) this Friday and have been working with the some basic tutorials to get used to the program enough to attempt to edit a Sims 4 hair mesh. I just installed Sims 4 Studio today and attempted to export a hair mesh...only Sims 4 Studio keeps giving me a message that it can't find my Blender installation (which is located in my Program Files (x86) folder). I tried moving it to Program Files, but I still keep getting the same error message. Is it just that my version of Blender is not compatible with Sims 4 Studio (in which case, would version 2.6 work?), or is there some other issue going on here?

You need Blender 2.70 simslovinlycan I have the 2.70 version downloaded and it still says the same thing, I'm not 100% sure that I have it in the right folder though so what folder does Blender need to be put in?

valflcon I've seen you posted for help in many places in the forum. If this is the thread that you want to be answered stop asking again in every place you find... Try to install blender 2.70 with the installer.exe rather than having it as a folder.

Sos this is no longer solved for MAC...
When S4S tells me it can't find Blender, it asks you to follow the link to DL it. However, the link takes you to 7.8. So that puts us users on a mission to find a DL link for the old 2.0 version. Found it from a couple resources, tried it out and it's no longer supported on MAC. (Won't open) Dead in the water again...

Hi jaypeg, is there any reason you aren't just using Blender 2.78? Studio is compatible with that version.

I have the same problem. Followed the tutorial as well and got stuck on "export mesh" to Blender. I have already installed the latest Blender (on D), but The Sims 4 Studio tells me it can't find my installation. Any suggestions?

The latest blender doesn't work with Studio. You need v 2.70 or 2.76 .

I did, doesn't work.. Maybe something is wrong with the Blender path, in settings. The path doesn't seem correct; I have installed my Blender on D while the path in the Studio shows C. I tried to choose another path, my Blender map, and the two different.exe files, but these paths don't work either. Athough I feel like I may be missing something basic here. Maybe I chose the wrong file.

I see... I can tell you what my path is:
C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\blender.exe
Your's should be similar but in the D disk I guess. Are you choosing that .exe file? If it doesn't work please take a capture of the settings so I can see if something is wrong.

Hi! I am also having this issue. My Mac automatically downloaded 2.78 & S4Studio can't find blender.
