qlx i have no clue where the addons files are saved for mac, sorry, but this link should help. you should be able to find some addon files if the 2.70 installation works (also s4studio has to always stay linked to the 2.70 so you have to keep it). at the end of the day, if you can't put the addon on the newer version of blender, it just means you'll have to open your mesh in both blender versions to do whatever functions (cut numbers in 2.70 vs data transfer uv_1 in 2.78 etc).

Hi chicagonative, welcome to Studio forums. Sims 4 Studio currently works only with 2.70. The question of whether it will ever work for 2.77 is an open one since the Blender Developers removed support for Windows XP in this version. The game will run on XP and so there are creators using Studio on an XP system. We don't have time to support multiple versions of the tool for different OS. Therein lies the problem. i downloaded the version 2.70 of blender and when i want to export the mesh s4s still says that i have to download the 2.70 version but i already downloaded it. i tried everything but nothing worked for me..

Odeng Try setting your Blender path manually by going into Settings(next to file at the top of Studio's windows)/ Blender path and searching for the Blender 2.70 folder and choosing the Blender.exe . For example, I use the folder version of Blender 2.70 and Studio is able to work with it just fine, my path is: C:\Users\Your name\Documents\Your name\blender-2.70a-windows64

sorry for the confusion, but I would have a problem with s4s not wanting to export mesh. I downloaded Blender 2.70., and then can find the blender.exe, but how many times I export it will issue an error message.
