Hey everyone I read that Python was used to create the Sims. Do you guys know what version? There are Python 2 and Python 3 currently in use,and on the official page of TS they also stated that Modders should keep an eye on Python. Now for modding what does the programming mean? And also this: a 3D animator created a polygon model in Blender/Maya/3DSMax. How does Python make them do the things they're supposed to do in the TS? Also: what things Python did you need to change in order to make S4S work? I find this topic very interesting and hope somebody can give me an answer .

Hi kirschenbaum79, From what I've read, Sims 4 uses Python ~3.3.5.
They have XML files that define most of animation workflow that is loaded and utilized by the Python scripts.
S4S does not use any of the game's Python to function. It does however use some Python code to interface with Blender for creating new meshes and animations.
