Hello, I've been debating on posting here, because i'm not sure how easy the task of creating a completely new mesh from Sims 2 to Sims 4 is, and i'm not sure if the thread will get any helpful replies, but I hope it does. My fiance has tried to do it for me, but is having trouble, because he is unable to find a good youtube guide/walkthrough that will help, and every time he tries to add his work to the Sims 4 Studio it appears invisible, he did however give me a package file so I could place his model in my game, but of course I need a clothing set not an item. (I will share 2 pictures near the bottom of how they look as a model so you can see what I am looking for) I would like to ask here and see if anyone can create it for me instead. I would like 2 custom content Sims 2 outfits to be converted to the Sims 4, from reading the creators description, I believe it is okay to do this as long as it is not uploaded to the any pay sites, and he or she is given credit for the initial item. I would like a version where the jumper(sweater) is dark grey/close to black, and a second version where the jumper is light grey (the same as how it shows on their Sims 2 version I have shared below). I would like a version for young adult female and young adult male (and for teens/adults if it's easy to add them on without making extra items, but the only ones that really matter are the young adult versions). Also please only make a version where the shirt is tucked in, I don't like the baggy shirt version from the Sims 2 original item. I am playing a Harry Potter world save, and would be really happy if someone could help me with these. As I really love the cloak design with the clothing. Male: www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=256749Female: www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=259923Model with light grey jumpers (sweaters): imgur.com/QObR6ApMode with dark grey/black jumpers (sweaters): imgur.com/dUB1HrZHe only added the male model version to my game, so I don't have a screenshot of the female version, but I would like both gender, and both in dark grey/light grey colours. Thank you for reading, if this is too difficult or just takes too long for anyone to consider doing, please reply to my post and let me know, and I can stop thinking about it.

Hi there! I've wanted the same cloaks converted to include in my HP packs, hehe. I AM going to do some Hogwarts house robes, though; the lovely Mathcope converted some graduation robes from TS3 for me and I plan to recolor those to look like house robes. If I knew how to convert clothes, I certainly would've done these a long time ago! Maybe someone will, or maybe the graduation/house robes I plan to do will work for you

Hey Britt! I'm so happy you replied, I am a big fan of your Harry Potter themed stuff/mod packs, I (K ell z) just commented on Nugua's video about you traits/club icons. I look forward to seeing your robes once you've either finished them, or you share some teasers. Hopefully the ones you and Mathcope create will be open slightly though like the ones I shared from Sims 2, would be nice to see the actual uniform and not just robes. (Just looked up the graduation robes to familiarize myself with them, and they all seem to be closed and only show robes). I currently use the Harry Potter clothing by Kyosfera, the ones you also have in your example screenshots you use in your packs, but it would be nice to have a set with robes. My Hogwarts currently has 34 Sims in it, it is fun to play, and I love using your packs. My Hogwarts Sims: imgur.com/Ci5Unsu - if you'd like to see them, 90% of them are not my work though, just other people sims from the Gallery, my fiance did make the Justin Finch-Fletchley and Susan Bones for me though, and I made Ernie Macmillan, because there were no good ones on the gallery. :P

Unfortunately, they'll be closed, kelna :( I really wish I could convert clothing, or else I would convert those robes. I even looked into doing it, but I don't know anything at all about clothing meshes and especially not conversions. I used those robes back when cloudlessnights first released them for TS2, so I'd love to have them in the TS4. I sincerely hope someone sees this, though, and can convert those robes for all of us! And thank you so much for the compliments! I love your HP Sims, they look awesome! Now, how are you playing your Hogwarts save? Are they all living in one Hogwarts castle with a more than 8 household members mod, or...? And are you using the traits? How are you finding them? :D

Ah, that's okay then, will still be nice to see how they look. Me too, but not sure how often people look at stuff like this and think "That's a good project to work on". :P My Harry Potter save is based in Windenburg, where I have a Hogwarts made by Lila-Build, however a new Hogwarts was uploaded a couple of weeks ago: modthesims.info/download.php?t=579614, that I am going crazy for, I haven't found one I loved like Lila Builds Hogwarts before, but this new one is awesome. So once I can play my save again, i'll have to check out this new Hogwarts properly in game. I also have The Burrows, the Dursleys, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, 12 Grimmauld Place - not created by myself but they're in the Harry Potter world, and yes all of the sims I shared above are on one lot, Hogwarts, with the mod that allows me to have more than 8 sims per lot. If you'd like to see more of my screenshot from my Hogwarts Save you can check out my Facebook Album here: www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100004210867578&sk=photos&collection_token=100004210867578%3A2305272732%3A69&set=a.640883972728626.1073741829.100004210867578&type=3Now that I have remembered maybe you could add something to your robe pack for me, I would love to see the quidditch sweater that I could wear as athletic wear, the quidditch robe doesn't matter so much, just something like this: www.lochaveninternational.com/sitepix/products/large/large_DSCF1868Slytherin%20Quidditch%20-%20Copy%20-%20Copy.jpg and maybe the legwear they wear too: can't find a good picture of those though. :P

I do like the project too! Those seems great uniforms. However I should ask, Does this creator allows the meshes to be converted? I can take a look into doing it but I don't want to break any TOU.

Mathcope, I'm not too sure about their TOU, but they haven't been in the community since 2010, so it's probably fine at this point, so long as we give credit and don't use Adfly.

Hi Mathcope, thanks for replying. I would love if you could try and make them. This is the only thing I can find from their Mod the Sims page. "FEEL FREE TO: Include my creations with your sims and upload them to any free sites you like, as long as proper credit is given (just link back to the download thread or my profile here). Likewise, you're welcome to make your own recolours/retextures of my meshes and upload them. If you do, I'd love if you dropped me a note to let me know ;-)
DO NOT: Upload my creations or any recolours/retextures made from them to paysites (including all of TSR) or as part of 'donation' sets. Please don't upload to the Exchange." www.modthesims.info/m/190589

Ok, So I just finished Male Robes. It is not perfect, there is some issues with clipping while walking but other than that is fine. I mean this mesh was created for Sims 2 and in a less polygons enviroment game. For that reason it might look a little sharpy in some verts. I do think it's worth it anyways, I will send you the file privately and you let me know. Then I need to work with the females, the 2 gray options and then release it
