I got this error after replacing the RLE2 Image:
The Sims 4 Studio - Version 2.6.1.4 Gibbed.Sims4.TextureCompress.RLEImageException: Exception of type 'Gibbed.Sims4.TextureCompress.RLEImageException' was thrown. at Gibbed.Sims4.TextureCompress.RLEUtilities.ImportToRLE2(Stream input, Stream output, Endian endian) in C:\Workspace\Sims4Studio\TheS4Studio\S4Studio.Data\Rick\TextureCompress\RLEUtilities.cs:line 538 at Gibbed.Sims4.TextureCompress.RLEUtilities.ConvertDDS(Stream input, Stream output) in C:\Workspace\Sims4Studio\TheS4Studio\S4Studio.Data\Rick\TextureCompress\RLEUtilities.cs:line 106 at Gibbed.Sims4.TextureCompress.RLEUtilities.ConvertDDS(Byte[] src) in C:\Workspace\Sims4Studio\TheS4Studio\S4Studio.Data\Rick\TextureCompress\RLEUtilities.cs:line 70 at S4Studio.Data.IO.Images.RLE2ImageResource.set_DDS(Byte[] value) in C:\Workspace\Sims4Studio\TheS4Studio\S4Studio.Data\IO\Images\RLE2ImageResource.cs:line 41 at S4Studio.Data.IO.Images.RLE2ImageResource.set_RawImageData(Byte[] value) in C:\Workspace\Sims4Studio\TheS4Studio\S4Studio.Data\IO\Images\RLE2ImageResource.cs:line 53 at S4Studio.ViewModels.Warehouse.WarehousePackageViewModel.ImportResource(String f, Boolean batch) in C:\Workspace\Sims4Studio\TheS4Studio\S4Studio\ViewModels\Warehouse\WarehousePackageViewModel.cs:line 558 at S4Studio.ViewModels.Warehouse.WarehousePackageViewModel.<.ctor>b__26_12() in C:\Workspace\Sims4Studio\TheS4Studio\S4Studio\ViewModels\Warehouse\WarehousePackageViewModel.cs:line 190
Can you tell me what I did wrong?
Edit: I figured out what I did wrong - the plugin automatically saved it as an "Explicit Alpha" when I should have selected "Interpolated Alpha".

Im trying to remove a shadow from clothing but nothing works, ive tried things on this site with no success, ive read the instructions about using a blank .rles but mine doesnt work. I have 2 images of the top on the rles image. one is a mask. I downloaded the blank .rles and when i press Import it will not accept it, i have to press batch import before it does, and even then nothing happens. Please Help!

i get those things in the legs every time i edit the shadow. that is why i simply replace them for an empty one. how did you fixed that?? it seams that everytime you edit the shadow you get that. and i do edit the alpha too. Ive tried for hours now to change the shadows on a childrens dress, but everytime i change just a bit in the shadow file, it shows up with black lines on neck, arms and legs. I have tried to remove everything on the dds picture and then put it back in, sadly with same result. How do you replace it with a empty shadow file? -At first i wanted the details, but tbh im so fed up trying now, that i just want it to NOT have black lines XD

simsfox wow this is old XD. Here's a tutorial for creating your own custom shadows. This is suggested for close to the skin items, not bottom parts such as skirts. For that i just use a shadow that is similar for what i want to create and move it either up or down.

Thanks for a really helpful tutorial, but I have a problem. I don't have the "RLE 2" file, there are only "CAS Part" files. What did I do wrong? :(

So I got a nice dress from Colores Urbanos but it had a ribbon that I didn't want: I removed the ribbon from the arms using blender but when I tried the dress in game I got this: So now I'm stuck with that annoying shadow on the arms. How can I remove it? Thanks in advance.

gabbi777 open the file on Studio tab, there are a few options like diffuse, normal map, specular, shadow, emission. Click on "shadow" and "make blank" map. It will delete entire shadow file. If you want to leave some shadow from existing file then you need to export and edit shadow texture in any editor.
