So, at this point, I've made about 4 mods...I always use S4S as my main tool, but I've also used the XML File Finder and S4PE for extracting .xml and .data files, respectively. Someone mentioned to me that you could use S4S to extract the xml files, something I already realized, but I thought it was a bit easier to use the XML File Finder because I'm used to it now. I decided to check it out, and lo and behold...S4S will bring not only the .xml file up, but its associated .data file. How amazing is that?! I thought I'd share for any other modders who might not have realized it. S4S is really an amazing tool...I think I can officially cut the other programs out and do 100% of my modding with S4S! :D Now, to start over again with this custom career I'm working on...last night it kept making the Career UI show up blank

Studio will add the relevant data file to the .package when you add an .xml (if there is an associated data file). If you already have a .package with a data file in it, open the package and view the resource in the Warehouse. If this doesn't help, provide a bit of context about what it is you're trying to accomplish.

Im trying to follow this tutorial Changing the names that are randomly generated to townies within my game, I am looking for a way to open up and edit the text inside a data file that i extracted inside the ClientDeltaBuild0.package. Hopefully this makes sense im still so new to all these mod terms and such haha! If you could help me out in any way that would be GREATLY appreciated <3
