I did check out that fourm, and I did apply the cuts wrong, I fixed them but it still doesn't show up on sims 4 studio. This is how the cuts are supposed to be and i fixed them to that
s4studio_mesh_1 - geom #0000
s4studio_mesh_2 - geom #0002
s4studio_mesh_3 - geom #0001
Still don't know what im doing wrong...[/quote]

hi! The problem you're facing isn't about cuts, but the high polygon mesh you're trying to import. I personally couldn't make it import, it only says "importing" and it's to big in my opinion. I deleted most of the hair from all three groups and it imported just fine. what i can only suggest is try to import it and leave the program alone, go take a break or eat something while it imports. Depending on the machine it might do it faster or slower.

Thank you so much, but the thing is it doesn't import at all. It say importing, and then it just doesn't do nothing. The importing lasts for a while then it just closes and the hair looks exactly like the one from ea (the reference mesh) , Im using studio 2.7.0 jackpot < or something like that... should I update sims 4 studio?

I have the latest version, and i personally couldn't import it. Not because it didn't do anything, but because is such a high poly mesh that i got impatient and desisted. Maybe someone else can try and test the import.
You can try updating s4s too, you don't loose anything with that.

I've updated the correct version of blender to work with harmony... Now when I try to import the mesh, it loads and then a "blender has stopped working" pop up, I press the red x. Sims 4 studio continued to import. Then it stopped and as per usual nothing changed... GAHHH!!! What do I do! By the way if this helps I use parralels... but i do everything on windows

I had to google what that was since i've never used mac XD. I'm sorry, i don't know how else to help. Try doing what i did, delete part of the mesh on each group and you'll see it will import. So i can only assume is due to the high amount of polygons. Bare in mind that there's three groups with the same polygons.. that's why in the end it's too much to import. Maybe try asking someone else to import it? someone that has worked with those type of meshes already.

xanax, Studio has Appletini (Sims 4 Studio for Mac) for people who use Mac for CAS creation. No one here can help much with Mac/Harmony/Blender combos. Also, I agree with inabadromance. If the item is very high poly that could cause Studio to have issues because Studio was developed for meshes that have poly counts similar to those of EA items.

I solved it, what i did was delete blender 2.78, and install 2.70a along with jackpot s4s. I used a different mesh and made the polys smaller. And it imported! Thank you so much!

happy to hear you found a way around it! I would highly suggest you warning the users that see the download about the polygons since that could impact on the performance of the game and the computer
