I try to retexture hair in S4S without include mesh , But when i do this , i have red and white question mark on body in game. First color is the same as orginal , but rest of it have this question marks ;/ Please help me and sorry for bad english ;/ ![]() ![]() |

Hi maciek1231, this problem often comes after removal of a resource. If you did not remove resources, please post the .package so someone can take a look.  |

I didn't remove anything ;( I don't know how to post .package file , and this is in all .packages xd I always download hairs from Tumblr and TSR , they always working and i can make retextures before this new version in S4S ;C

Hi!! I am having this same issue. I did not remove any resources or anything. The package is here >> simfileshare.net/download/164329/ . All I did was place the adult version in the S4S mods folder > create a 3D mesh > adjusted the mesh to fit the toddler/child head and it appears this way in game. Note: The hair appears properly if the original adult mesh is in game but this wasn't required before updating to Harmony. |

Hi thisissharrr, I took a look at your .package (you sent two, I looked at the one made last). You have not imported any textures into the .package. The way Harmony works, is it will reference any resource unless you edit it. Until you import textures into this .package, it will keep referencing the textures of the original. If the original was an EA item, it will show up normally in the game. If the original was a CC .package, the item will need the original in your Sims 4/Mods folder to get the textures from. To fix this, all you have to do is import the textures into your .package. Alternatively, you can let your downloaders know this is a mesh edit of another creator's mesh that will require the original to show up correctly.

I cloned the mesh as normal then I added swatch to copy all of the current swatches, the hair texture appears under the warehouse tab but instead of red and white boxes in game, the eyes turn red and there's black question marks on the forehead. This only happpens if the mesh is not in game. Do I have to export all the textures from the original and import all of them back onto the child conversion? fuyaya , nivea , and daweesims the Harmony version has changed CAS in the way that it will not include the mesh or textures unless they are edited. We will add an option to include all resources in the next version for this purpose, but the default behavior will be to not include these items in order to keep package sizes smaller.

You can either download it separately or merge it with your retexture. |

My sims 4 game is doing exactly the same. I haven't been on it in like a year and went to create a new game/ household and my character always has question marks on them.
For the male characters they have white question marks with red squares and for the women its white or black squares with white or black question marks. It also won't let mee press on any part of the body to change it. Then I viewed one of my old families I had and they were the same. Also, the grass and other objects in the game has question marks on them as well. I don't know what the issue is since I have played the game in over a year, I have't added any cc and i haven't bought any packages.
Can anyone help with my issue please?
