Hello. Hope everyone is well.
I just noticed an issue where I have double (or more) of the SAME recolors, while some of my other recolors are missing.
Example: (each letter counts for a recolor swatch) a b b c d e f are the swatches I basically imported over the ones that were there. I then ADDED a swatch 'g' and it "copies" one of my swatches so that 'g' now looks like 'd'. The problem is that when I import or assign a texture to 'g', not only does 'g' change, but 'd' does as well. :(
The only thing I can think of is maybe starting the project again, but I wondered what I am missing.
Thanks!

Can you post a .package that's giving you this unwanted result?

I deleted it and started anew , BUT this is the new one. It happened again when I added a swatch, so in essence, I started over twice. It starts out with 27 swatches and I can change them, but if I add a new one, that's when things get wonky. On this particular one I just recolored the 27 swatches and saved it, but if I add a new swatch the problem happens again. Anyway, not sure if I shared this file correctly, but here goes. DropboxAlso, I have recolored chairs which work great, but I found that another blanket that I also removed and added swatches from lost its ability to go on top of a bed. (It just sits on the floor and even i I hit '9', it never seems to actually get lift off. I will make sure I am using the latest version of S4S and will go read the beginner tutorial again too just in case I am skipping a step somewhere.

Hi, do you save your swatch as .png or .dds file?

As .png, 512 x 512. Should I convert them to dds before pulling them in? ----------------------------- Okay, I tried with a .dds file, but the same thing happens. It happens at the point of clicking "Add Swatch" I think. As soon as I click on that, it adds a new one (copies one of the existing ones), but as soon as I import a texture to that one, the one it copied changes too. It may just be this one file though and I am using it because it is one of my favorite blanket meshes. I may try with another to see if it happens as well because as I recall, I had no problems with some chairs I did. I did have issues with another blanket but it was a different issue - haha - it may be user error - in that it didn't behave like a blanket any longer, but the swatches were okay. In any case, I truly appreciate the desire to help and I am willing to try anything and to learn. Many, many thanks!

Hi xerendipity, I've taken a brief look at this .package and it is displaying very unusual behavior. It isn't clear exactly why that is. It is apparently a clone of a clone of a clone and that could have something to do with the issue. I think you would be better off downloading the original conversion and working with that.

Aww, thank you for taking the time to look at it. That is so sad though because I actually did look for the original conversion a while ago. I was curious about what colors it came in seeing as I really like the fluffiness of the mesh and use it a lot in my game, and alas, I couldn't find it. On the other hand, glad to know so I won't use the mesh any longer for recoloring although I think I'll keep these and the LOVELY recolors by selaronosims (SLRN) since they seem to not cause an issue in-game.
All the best, and thank you.
